How to Play Casino Hold’em at Online Casinos

July 28, 2020

One of the most popular card games at NZ casino sites today is a game called Casino Hold’em from Playtech. If you enjoy playing poker, but don’t have the time to play in a Sit ‘n Go tournament, and if you don’t even have time to sit down and play a few hands at the Cash Tables and wait for other people to take their turn, then Casino Hold’em could be the ideal alternative for you.

You won’t be playing against any other players, only the dealer, and most rounds usually only last just a few seconds. The game is based on five card draw poker, and the aim is to try and get the best possible poker hand as possible. The lowest win is a Pair. You then have Two Pair, Three of a Kind, a Straight, a Flush, a Full House, Four of a Kind, a Straight Flush, and a Royal Flush (the best possible hand).

First of all, you need to set your stake for the first round of betting by using the player controls that are located towards the bottom of the game window. You can also place your chips on the AA Side Bet option before being dealt your first two cards. As soon as you’re ready, hit the deal button so that you can be dealt your first two face-up cards, and also so that the flop can be dealt (the first three community card that are also dealt face up).

A new round of betting now begins, and you can either add more chips, fold, or check. The next face-up community card that’s dealt is the turn card, at which point another new round of betting is available, and then the last card to appear is the river card. If the community cards have helped you beat the dealer’s hand, then you will receive a payout accordingly.

With just the standard Ante Bet, a Straight or lower pays 1:1. A Flush pays 2:1. A Full House pays 3:1. 4 of a Kind pays 10:1. A Straight Flush pays 20:1, and a Royal Flush pays 100:1. If you go for the AA Side Bet and get a Straight or lower on the first two cards, you will receive a 7:1 payout, whereas a Flush pays 20:1. 4 of a Kind pays 40:1. A Straight Flush pays 50:1, and a Royal Flush pays 100:1. The dealer’s qualifying hand must be a pair of 4’s or better.

You can play Casino Hold’em from Playtech right now at Casino.com. The game is available in the real money mode and free play demo mode, and you can play from as little as NZ$1.00 per round (without any Side Bets being placed). If you enjoy playing on this game when you next visit this trusted NZ casino site, and if you want to take your online casino experience to the next level, then you also need to check out the cutting edge Live Dealer Casino Hold’em game, which is also from Playtech.
